Mineral Cotton Board Equipment Introduction

Melting Part:

It’s composed of furnace (cupola or gas pool furnace), 4-roll centrifuge, loading machine, etc. Cupola, used to melt rock (slag), has cooling water circulation system in its furnace body. It is also equipped with hot-air system warmed up by its own furnace temperature, which conserves energy effectively. By using single row multi wind eyes structure and volume damper, it’s easy to be operated.

The equipment uses vertical cotton collection structure. Centrifuge flings the lava flows to fiber and blows into the cotton collector. Negative pressure wind leads the fiber onto the grid belt to form the original felt. The grid belt transports the original felt to pendulum bob cloth-cotton machine. After being swung, the cotton has even thickness. It can improve products’ quality significantly.

Board Making Part

Board Making part is composed of cloth-cotton machine, curing oven, cooling cutting machine, main power system, air heating furnace, etc.

1. Curing Oven: It is the equipment for forming products. After swung cloth-cotton, the original felt is delivered to the curing oven through the cloth-cotton machine. The felt moves forward between the upper and lower chain belt. The hot-air heater blows the hot air into the curing oven to solidify the cotton felt.

2. Cutting machine: It’s used to cut the solidified products. Vertical cutting first and horizontal cutting later.

Production line parameters:

 (1) Daily output 2000M²╳1.2mm. Product standard: 600X600mm. Density: 40-120M³

 (2) Product usage temperature: 600℃

 (3) Installed Capacity: ① Cotton making and cotton collection pendulum bob part: 218KW. ② Board making part: 65KW.

Plant area and height:

 (1) Plant is “L” shape. Cotton making part is horizontal and board making part is vertical. Cotton making part: 25M╳10M╳6M. Board making part: 40M╳10M╳5M.

 (2) Power supply: Total capacity: 250KW. Voltage: 200V/380V. Frequency: 50Hz.

(3) Water supply usage: 15-20 tons/hour, recycled usage.
